Hey ya'll Spooktacular Ppl.
I have been listening to HGB for 1 year, and hadn't decided to become apart of the community until recently. On the "Legends of Mexico" show I geeked out a little when Diane and Denise welcomed me to the Spooktacular crew. I was so happy it brightened my day and I couldn't wait to get home to tell the hubby, who laughed because of my sheer giddiness over a 5 sec shout out. I'm married, no kids, I crochet a lot, sew a little, and I LOVE DISNEY. My husband and I will be visiting Disney World in September, hopefully we can do a meet up with HGB.
Lastly, I would like to appeal to the researchers and history people that help track down stories for the show, is this something I can learn to do? I would like to learn and help out.
Please let me know, I am a willing padawan... TTFN (Ta-ta for now).

Welcome Yoyo and thanks for your review over at iTunes! It will be heard on the next podcast. We would love to meet-up when you come down if we are in town. We're doing our Carolina road trip in September. Remind us when we get closer to the time. As for research, it depends on the place how easy the research can be. People who are members of the Research Crew have made a more long term commitment. Generally, we start people with researching a location near them that they would like to know more about and see if you even like doing research. It can be frustrating and confusing and sometimes there just isn't much out there. You don't have to be eloquent - I edit everything and make sure it comes across in "our voice" and add my own research and expand if need be to make sure a location fits at least a 25 minute block of time. So let us know if you are interested and if you have a location in mind.

Lol Yecenia, I did the same thing when they read my review on the podcast! The only person around for me to tell at the time was my 5 year old, but he was pretty enthusiastic for me ?
